The ultra-rare Prince mixtape cassette, The VERSACE Experience: PRELUDE 2 GOLD, is set to be reissued on Record Store Day.
Originally, the release was a reward for attendees of the Versace collection at Paris Fashion Week in July 1995, and was handed out as a promo tape, but it has since gone on to be the most expensive cassette ever sold on Discogs. The rare collectable reached a whopping £3,075 in 2016, which is equivalent to $4,607.04 CAD. Now, the cassette is set to receive a new pressing on Record Store Day, which is April 13th, bringing it back into circulation for the first time in 14 years.

The tape contains complete versions or edits of released Prince and NPG tracks, as well as edits of the unreleased Madhouse tracks, 'Rootie Kazootie' and 'Sonny T.'
